A success story
For over twenty years, Galleria Baumgartner has been a reference point for model-train collectors and for families who want to amaze their children. A unique exhibition that thrills enthusiasts and surprises visitors of every age.
Welcome, Gloria and Bruno
The first communication step was to make the gallery more attractive to children. That’s how the mascots Gloria and Bruno (an elephant and a crocodile) were born, inspired by the nicknames of famous locomotives. Their smiling faces welcome visitors, suggesting that technology can go hand in hand with imagination.
Logotype restyling
We kept the structure of the historic logotype, which recalls the Gotthardbahn one, adapting it to today’s needs: flexible across a variety of online and offline formats.
User experience
To improve the visit experience, we designed panels explaining historical features and anecdotes linked to the main railway models on display. We also organised photo shoots to create more emotional, immersive imagery, later used for panels and window graphics that welcome and intrigue visitors from the façade and parking area.
Website
We created a multilingual website that offers a taste of what visitors will find and encourages a visit, focusing especially on the family experience. We also highlighted the passion story that led the founder-collector to create what is now the largest railway-model collection in Europe.
Advertising and media relations
We managed press conferences and communications for events related to the inauguration of the Postal Museum and the gallery’s 20th anniversary. This activity resulted in numerous articles in local and sector magazines and newspapers.
Alongside this, we ran an advertising campaign with magazine ads and posters at partner locations.
