Context
Casa Berno is a panorama resort hotel in Ascona offering an incomparable view of the upper part of Lake Maggiore and the Brissago Islands.
Its clientele comes mainly from north of the Gotthard and is made up of couples and families who want to experience a welcoming atmosphere close to nature, focusing on relaxation, wellbeing and experiences that explore the territory.
Rebranding
We aimed to preserve the concept of familiarity and naturalness, while linking it to a more contemporary, light and dynamic logo and graphic sign, capable of evoking a sense of cleanliness and wellbeing. Consequently, we updated the corporate design applications, defining the main “stationery” elements and customising the supports belonging to the “brand markings” section of the brand manual.
Website and shooting
The multilingual website was renewed and connected to the direct booking platform. Content was developed as a narrative of the different experiences available at Casa Berno—from more sporty ones to those linked to meditation. The mood is that of a familiar place, attentive to guests’ wellbeing, able to offer unique experiences for discovering the territory.
At the same time, the communication highlights a side attentive to those seeking balance and relaxation, or intimate togetherness.
The selection of models for hotel settings and the proposed experiences aimed to reflect the personas that best match Casa Berno’s positioning, with natural colour grading to convey an authentic experience.
