Context
AMB is Azienda Multiservizi Bellinzona (water, electricity and telecommunications) and is also present on the market with an internet, TV and telephony offering under the Wambo brand. Its goal is to convey messages of innovation and energy, enhance the territory, and stay close to the people who live in it.
Idea
To spark interest among a younger audience, we created a writers’ contest by making available AMB-owned walls along the riverbank near the Ticino river. This led to the creation of Wambo Jam, a biennial event centred on writers’ art, with an all-day performance from dawn to dusk and a festival event featuring music, shows and food trucks.
Brand creation
For Wambo Jam we developed a dedicated brand with its own logo and key visual, applied to merchandising and dedicated gadgets such as t-shirts and baseball caps.
Communication
Visiva supported AMB in selecting sketches and coordinating with the artists.
We created the dedicated website and ensured full event coverage through printed promotional materials, organic social posting, social and web advertising, a media kit, event filming, and management of the jury voting process.
